European robin

The robin is found across Europe, east to Western Siberia and south to North Africa. Range extends into parts of western Asia.
In Ukraine, can be found in forests and woodlands, parks and gardens. It winters mainly in the south of the country, but occasionally it can be found in other areas as well.
Their usual diet consists of insects, earthworms and snails. In autumn, they also consume berries, and in winter they will also eat seed mixtures and sued placed on bird-tables.
