Common pochard

Common in Europe, Asia and some parts of Africa.
In Ukraine, they breed throughout the territory, regularly wintering near the coast. They are typically found on freshwater bodies such as lakes, ponds and rivers.
They feed on aquatic plants, invertebrates such as mollusks, crustaceans, and insects, as well as small fish.
